David Chipperfield, direttore della tredicesima Mostra Internazionale di Architettura che si terrà a Venezia, dal 29 Agosto al 25 Novembre ha saputo tradurre il tratto saliente del dna di Valentino: il savoir faire couture nell'idea di un palazzo a partire dalla scala monumentale dell'ingresso fino a giungere nel vero cuore della "casa".
Colori, materiali e luci creano un'atmosfera speciale.
L'architettura è pensata per integrarsi con i prodotti esposti utilizzando una gamma di materiali dalla sobria opulenza per focalizzare l'attenzione sulle collezioni e trasmettere un senso di intimità.
Alcune sale sono state rifinite dal soffitto al pavimento con scaffali intarsiati in noce americano, che creano un'atmosfera più intima, come la biblioteca di un nobiluomo inglese.
Le pareti dei camerini sono tappezzate di pelle, per rendere più accoglienti questi spazi privati.
I mobili di tutte le stanze hanno il fascino di una collezione personale in cui esclusivi pezzi moderni convivono con elementi ispirati all'arredamento Art Déco.

collection in which are blended exclusive pieces with modern elements inspired
by Art Deco.
